Our expert medical consultation service is designed to help members and their treating physicians achieve the best possible outcome. Better than a traditional second opinion, our expert medical consultation provides a comprehensive medical review by our clinical team and expert physicians.

A confidential phone call from a member starts a process that includes a full case review by the very best nationally-recognized expert physician. At the end of the process, members and their treating physicians receive an Expert Report with personalized recommendations on diagnosis and treatment.

Best Doctors FindBestDoc service 

Best Doctors FindBestDoc service is a unique referral service that matches people with the right expert specialist for their medical situation. Best Doctors Member Services Representatives take a focused clinical history on the member.

Our medical director team works with the member services team to determine the most appropriate specialist for the patient within the patient’s geographical location and insurance plan. Our team contacts each specialist’s office to verify that the physician is seeing patients, accepts the member’s health plan, and next available appointment.
